Vermont Decriminalizes Marijuana Possession

Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin (D) signed into law Thursday a bill decriminalizing the possession of small amounts o marijuana. That makes Vermont the 17th state to decriminalize, including all of its neighboring New England states except New Hampshire.

One step at a time I guess. It seems clear that some goof balls are coming to their senses. Why is it absolutely necessary to lock someone up in prison for smoking some weed. Actually it is better than whiskey as there is no hang over to deal with. I just wonder how HLS and DEA feel about this and Holder. I know a woman spending eight years in prison for this very violation.
Control of the masses, especially those without money is an ancient process. How do you dislodge something so old. Maybe Montsanto can come up with a solution.
