More convenient for HIM. Mr. Big Shot didn't want to change planes at Charlotte, so he asked the airline to change their route so it flew directly to SC where his vacation home is, in return for the airline gaining landing rights in NJ. Mr. Big Shot didn't even have to go to jail for bribery when all came to light either, just resign. Go figure?
