David Brooks Loves Secrecy, Hates Journalism

“Sunshinism is a destructive ideology. Forcing people to financially undress in public is just one of those incursions that repels decent people from running for office... It also destroys people's faith in government.” And, to me, that destruction of faith in the government is exactly what is so good about 'sunshinism'. I know that the more I learn about how government really operates, the more I despise it.
