"The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is both an economic and an environmental disaster. Early reports are reporting that the spill may be worse than the Exxon Valdez spill in Alaska. The government’s cleanup operation is predictably inept. The way the media (and people in general) have been responding to this crisis says a lot about the current moral compass of the world. "
