Really? Balko demonstrates that law enforcement deaths have gone down for decades.
Eric Field: I concur. Was recently reading a piece from policeone.com regarding police safety despite the fact they were actually discussing citizens carrying firearms. The majority of officers responding to the article concurred that citizens with firearms on their person did more than they possibly could is causing the decline in crime. What is sickening is the several state governors are putting together basically gun confiscation bills. Whether they stand up in court will be another matter.
