What Part of “Illegal” Really Matters?

The article raises an excellent point about how to counter the "we only are protesting ILLEGAL immigration" argument.

But it gets a little pollyannish here:
"Law exists to serve the people, to protect their rights — to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

Silly me. I thought laws exist to serve the rulers.

"...they overthrew their government so that another could be established in its place — one where “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” might be enjoyed by everyone..."

Thus the great, false illusion: that by "establishing" (read: accepting as necessary and deserving of "everybody's" support -- under threat of violence) another government to replace the one overthrown will make "the people" more free.

And on. And on. And on.
