"First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me."

What Facebook Taught Me About Parenting
Submitted by Bradley Keyes on Thu, 2013-08-29 23:00
I've learned to be gentle to myself and forgive myself and my parents for doing what we thought was best for our children. There is such a wealth of information and so many friendly people to give advice. I have gained friendships with people I'll probably never meet and have learned how to get together with moms with similar attitudes towards parenting. Who knew a parent could be both gentle and not permissive.
