We Shouldn't Even Have a President
“The Framers, so often credited with farsightedness, saw no farther than the noble [George] Washington. Only the Anti-Federalists, it seems, could envision Lyndon B. Johnson or George W. Bush.” Americans don’t need a national government either, and so greatly reducing the authority of POTUS in daily life would be “a good first step” as the Brady Campaign spox like to say.
