"We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debt, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our calling and our creeds...[we will] have no time to think, no means of calling our miss-managers to account but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers... And this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for [another ]... till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery... And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression." ~ Thomas Jefferson
19 year old, free market anarchist trying to write about Liberty as he grows. His hobbies include reading, eating, playing guitar, and camping.
I am Dylan Delikta
Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan
Aside from writing and reading, I enjoy playing and writing music; mainly for guitar and occasionally for the saxophone.
I read into a lot of philosophy, economics, psychology, and a variety of other topics, mainly because it is a direct way to teach myself about the issues of the world.
My favorite place in the world is Interlochen, MI, where my family and friends go to camp every summer.
I am considered and also claimed to something called Straight Edge (don't drink, don't smoke, don't partake in drugs). It's roots are from the hardcore-punk genre of music, and I feel that the Positive Straight Edge ideals are similar to libertarianism.
I see myself as an Educator in the future, or some kind of mentor. Though I went to public school, I have unschooled myself and would like to mentor others in the unschooling fashion as well.
