I was born 1938 in the UK at the start of WW2, my earliest memories where being told by my government keepers,teachers,peers etc,that the foe would eat your babies and other horrible things. I had NO parents due to dad being given a gun and told to kill strangers in another country,from what I have learned since he was a conscientious objector,but someone soon put him RIGHT !! what threats
made him change his mind ? I have also learned, that the so called FOE are a very decent in all respects but they too where all caught up in a power game, only the VICTOR is allowed to tell the story...everyone else has to listen and and believe. who said- "Thank goodness, the majority of people,can't think for themselves, it makes ANY governments job easy".
The power of the press, is now controlled by those people, why are we not allowed to even consider or talk about other side of of the Palestine situation without fear of being classed as ANTI SEMANTIC,or a terrorist.
