Carrie is a cellular biologist and lecturer at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. She also owns Aurum Naturals, a bath/body/candle business, and composes chamber music as the oboist for the Belle Isle Woodwind Quintet. Other interests include running, jumping-rope, reading, writing, gardening organically, cataloging wildflowers on nature trails, and living joyously through objectivism. In her spare time she is working on a comprehensive theory and nutritional treatment for adrenal fatigue, or hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis dysregulation.
