"In Washington, D.C. it costs $7,000 in city fees to open a pushcart. In California, up to eighty federal and state licenses are required to open a small business. In New York, a medallion to operate a taxicab costs $150,000. More than 700 occupations in the United States require a government license. Throughout the country, church soup kitchens for the homeless are being closed by departments of health. No wonder so many people turn to crime and violence to survive." ~ Jarret Wollstein
is extremly thankful for an audience.
I am a twenty-year old observer, explorer and discoverer. I make what little I have by making picture perfect pizzas at Papa John's Pizza in Danville, Kentucky. In my free time I like to write, both in columns and personal journals. I am hopeful that at some stage in my life I can end the use of my bodily pain to make money and use my brain - not only as a means of income, but as a means of furthering my community, loved-ones and the future.
I enjoy hoarding a mass of silver coins, eating fine vegan chocolate, spazzing out on over-caffeinated energy drinks and spending time with my girlfriend and pet hampster.
