Understanding Alternative Voting With Coffee And Beer

Here's Dan Snow explaining the "alternative voting" scheme that Britons will have the chance to vote on next week. Critics of AV have described it as too complicated. I don't know that "simple" necessarily means "better" when it comes to governments -- the "simplest" government being: "I am in charge and you do what I say or I chop your head off."
