Trump Should Follow Putin On Military Spending

Trump has attempted to justify his spending binge by parroting the beltway-conservative line that the Pentagon was left to wither away under the Obama administration. Unfortunately the actual record shows this excuse holds up about as well as the former president’s peace prize, with the military budget being consistently higher under Obama than during the famed “military buildup” of the Reagan administration.
