To the American ruling class war is just another government program. They’re something to hire people for, to purchase things for, to pay contractors and consultants for, to virtue signal for, and which also provides excellent opportunities for graft. So unless you’re a deployed infantryman in one of these turd-world hotspots, what’s not to like?
