"But, when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object, evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security." ~ Declaration of Independence

The nation’s crime rates are at 40-year lows. Many studies have been done on the link between more police officers and crime rates and there’s little if any connection between the two.

I could barely tolerate reading this. It becomes impossible to believe things are going to get better. It is my position that people should be preparing for wtshtf. I have read sites which indicate police will not enforce some of the moronic laws to be passed, but I become more and more hesitant. When I consider Zaylan's remarks of a Marine goon making specific remarks and the fear that seemed to generate in the employees. Reason says the police will follow all orders. Why? They need a income and recognize the safe side to be on--not much different than when I choose the U.S.A.F. to avoid placing my life in danger of going to Viet Nam. Who can you trust??
