“Sheriff Joe Arpaio rolled out the tanks to take down a man suspected of cockfighting.” And actor Steven Seagal. At a cost of thousands and thousands of taxpayer’s dollars. Yep, more ridiculous every day. Another step towards the tipping point. More ‘mainstream’ people becoming disgusted with the State and realizing they have no obligation to it. Thanks, Arpaio, you wear the arrogance of a petty tyrant so well, very educational. Thanks Seagal, your participation in this ridiculous fiasco is a better contribution to the culture and society than any one of your crappy movies has ever been, calling even greater attention to this delusional power-tripping representative of State coercion and violence and the insanity associated with the militarization of police.

This reminds me of the Julio Buitrago incident (look it up) that outraged people so much that it was a prime cause of success of the Sandinista Revolution. The state cannot help but make itself look like a heartless bastard. A good thing for revolutionaries, too.
