Some Captive Chimpanzees Show Signs of Compromised Mental Health, Research Shows
"New research from the University of Kent has shown that serious behavioral abnormalities, some of which could be compared to mental illness in humans, are endemic among captive chimpanzees." Less freedom, micromanaged lives, causes more mental illness....something to think about in our own society, perhaps.

Oh, dear -- free the monkeys. Then you can use the extra cages for human beings, because God forbid you ever stop caging human beings.
HA HA....I wasn't advocating for the monkeys with that link....I found the parallel between captive chimps, higher rates of mental illness and what is happening in our own society a tad amusing in a dark sort of way....spiraling rates of mental illness in people as we are regulated, policed and micromanaged from cradle to grave....
i just took a insurance plan from a reputed health insurance agents, i feel like i am secured to a certain extent.
