Senate GOP Pushing Vote on Pa. Liquor

“Senate Republicans are working toward a possible vote this week on a plan to increase the availability of beer and wine in Pennsylvania.” This would be a welcome change, but “[Democrats] support more gradual measures that would protect the state-owned wine and liquor stores.” We can always count on one party (usually both) to stand in the way of progress.
