The facts are simple: with the support of Costa Rica's president, Laura Chinchilla, the parliament of the Central American country a few days ago adopted a "security agreement" with the U.S. that provides entry into its territory of seven thousand U.S. soldiers that will be followed by about 50 warships, including aircraft carriers, and more than two hundred helicopters and combat aircraft.
