"Trace Gallagher reported that a lunch inspector at the school told the girl she couldn’t eat her turkey sandwich, banana, potato chips and apple juice." See what I mean about interfering with personal choice on the basic levels? Adding insult to injury, the mother was billed $1.25 for a replacement lunch supplied by the school cafeteria containing, according to a Fox News report, chicken nuggets -- a processed food. If I were her, I would demand a paper copy of the bill. I would photocopy it, using the blank side for my stationary for any and all on paper interaction with that school, with my opinion of that bill (most likely some variation of a reproductive impossibility) scrawled across the copy of the bill on other side. Hell would freeze over before they'd get that $1.25 from me. Lunch inspector? Don't even get me started. That school would beg me to homeschool by the time I got through with them.
