"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ H.L. Mencken
NYPD Sergeant Says 'Guilty Until Proven Innocent' Is Just The Price We Pay For A 'Free Society'
Submitted by Melinda L. Secor on Sun, 2013-05-12 01:00
"That's the price New Yorkers are paying. It has nothing to do with living in a free society. Mullins doesn't seem to understand (or just doesn't care) that if you take away freedom you no longer have a free society."
