UN Wants New Global Currency to Replace Dollar

A globally-managed fiat currency: what a great idea! Like the U.S. dollar or the Mexican peso, but run by an international elite instead of the local guys! Merits (or lack thereof) aside, this new proposal is a neon sign on the road to loss of reserve status for the U.S. dollar, and thus also a warning on the coming collapse in living standards for Americans and others dependent on the dollar's value.
