Congress Again Passes Kids Health Bill

"A defiant Democratic-controlled Congress voted Thursday to provide health insurance to an additional 4 million lower-income children, and President Bush vowed swiftly to cast his second straight veto on the issue." Defiant? Well, at least they pretend to be when it is politically expedient. Certainly no backbone where it matters. All that health care funding won't help kids after they are drafted for cannon fodder for the empire-building State, putting an end to the Neocon war-mongering would do them much more good over the long run.
