VA Tech Official Praised Defeat of Student Self-Defense Proposal in 2006
"I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions," [VA Tech spokesman] Hincker said on Jan. 31, 2006, "because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus."
