French Prosecutors Throw Out Rumsfeld Torture Case
Submitted by John deLaubenfels on Sat, 2007-11-24 17:00
"The [French-based International Federation of Human Rights Leagues (FIDH)] said it had received a letter from the prosecutors' office ruling that Rumsfeld benefited from a 'customary' immunity from prosecution granted to heads of state and government and foreign ministers, even after they left office." This is outrageous! Nazi thugs didn't get "customary immunity" after World War II; why should American thugs get it today?
