"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." ~ H.L. Mencken
Graham Hancock: 'Do Psychedelics Matter?'
Forwarded to me by D. Saul Weiner, with the followingcomment: "I believe that the libertarian community has missed an extremely important aspect of prohibition which has a major bearing on our efforts toward creating the free society. Psychedelics, when utilized with care and respect, have the potential to wake people up to the insanity all around them. And this makes them an invaluable tool for promoting liberty. Because most people who are stuck in the statist box cannot readily find their way out. And this great talk speaks to this attribute of psychedelic use, which ought to be of vital interest to those of us who are looking to create a better way."
