Well, this article is propaganda complaining about other propaganda. As one commenter noted, all forms of energy production have some drawbacks. In Oregon along the Columbia Gorge, the wind power is just balanced with hydro power.
The real problem is government interference with energy production, no matter which particular form of production is benefited by it. The problem is that the market is NOT allowed to work. No surprise this leads to waste.
