Do what thy manhood bids thee do,
From none but self expect applause:
He noblest lives and noblest dies
Who makes and keeps his self-made laws."

Former Fed Chairman Bernanke to Join Brookings Institution
Submitted by Emmett Harris on Tue, 2014-02-04 00:00
According to Brookings President Strobe Talbott, “His firm, steady hand at the Fed’s tiller came at a crucial time in our nation’s history, including during the worst financial and economic crisis since the Great Depression. We know he’ll bring insights from his tenure at the Fed to his work at Brookings.” Despite Mr. Talbott's glowing praise, Bernake's true legacy has yet to be written.
