"First they came for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up,
because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me."

Food Independence – Building A Foundation For True Freedom
Submitted by Melinda L. Secor on Mon, 2016-08-29 00:00
"With numbers like these, it is readily apparent that plenty of Americans rely directly upon the government for their food. Still more rely on being able to purchase their food from local retailers. If something happened to disrupt government benefits, the retail supply line, or people's capacity to pay market prices for food, how many of those people could successfully feed themselves? How many would willingly trade away their freedom – and yours – piece by piece, for full bellies? How much liberty do you really have in a state of food dependency?"
