Convinces me that I am right to hate democracy. I refuse to be ruled by idiots -- I don't care how many of them gather together to vote in liberty-hating politicians to pass more liberty-hating laws. Just because the majority of (not very bright) people create laws and regulations concerning things that are none of their business doesn't mean I have to consent to abide by them.
