Dad Creates 'Speaks4Me' Program To Help His Autistic Son Communicate

"Stephen's 11-year-old son, Callum, is non-verbal. But since using his dad's software, Callum has learned to form a variety of sentences onscreen, like 'I want a drink of juice,' or 'I feel tired.' When he's finished, Callum clicks a 'verbalize' button, which turns the images into audio that's projected from speakers built into the device."
