Crime is Down but Caging and Killing of People is UP, UP, UP!

This means that not only are the police much safer but so are you, kinda. You’re safer except for when you’re dealing with police, because a number that is going up, is the number of people killed by police each year. Another set of numbers that continue to go up is the number of interactions police have with people and the number of people in jail.
