Cities Stick it to Residents Over Vehicle Stickers
Submitted by Michael Kleen on Fri, 2010-07-23 03:00
Greg Alm, of Riverside, was stunned to open his mail recently and find he had been assessed $1,320 in fines for failing to buy village vehicle stickers this year — and in 2007, 2008 and 2009. I had no idea that Illinois residents lived under such tax sucking rules at the level of town government! I am surprised that Illinois still has a population. Did they close down the highways and bridges leading out of the State of Ill Repute? A little more work by the politicians and Illinois will look like Michigan--depopulated.
