Book Recommendation - The Primal Blueprint, Mark Sisson

Two weeks ago—after numerous testimonies by unrelated friends—I started eating in accordance with the primal blueprint diet. It's a very strange phenomenon to encounter someone promoting that you (1) cut out grains and (2) start eating more fat, but, in essence, that's why Mark Sisson's diet is about. I only plan on weighing myself every month on the diet, so I can't yet testify for any particular loss in pounds, but I will say that I feel much healthier already in terms of energy. I often post articles from the author's website, but you should all check out the book. It's a quick read and is very easy to follow.

I started on Jan 9th, weighing 260 pounds (age 47) that day, up from 185 when I got married six years ago. This morning (Jan 20) I tipped the scales at 250 on my way back to the 185! I too feel much better - more energy, sleeping better and less aches and pains. It's tough to cut out the grains for me since I work in a brewery as the head brewer but I've done pretty well, only two beers since I started the Primal Blueprint. I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to lose weight or get back in shape, it's easy and you don't feel deprived or hungry.
Congratulations! Keep that Civilization Syndrome* at bay.
I've had good luck improving my health with the help of the Weston A. Price foundation, which gives the above reviewed book Primal Blueprint a thumbs up.**
