"Ali you hypocrite!"
I was denounced as a hypocrite recently because I view "adult" content on TV, DVD rentals, and the Internet. (Adult in the sense of "not for kids", not porn). And so I was slandered as a hypocrite because, in the opinion of my critic, "free speech is for all! Even for kids. Who are you to censor anyone?".
Well now. I'll have to ponder this view. However in the meantime I am not gonna let somebody else's arbitrary notion of philosophic purity stand in the way of my being a good parent.

There's no conflict here. Children have the same right as anyone else but because they are unable to understand and exert these rights they have guardians that "manage" the child in his best interest until he becomes an adult. In this case, the parent is entitled to restrict the child's access to certain types of materials because they might be harmful.
Secondly, in this case the free speech right applies to the porn seller and manufacturer. Their rights are not infringed. The fact that not everyone can listen to what's been said/shown because of a choice by guardians, that's not a problem.
Should parents/guardians restrict access to porn? That's up to them. Until someone can prove in front of a judge that a parent is an unfit guardian then all such choices are up to the guardian.
We should also mind the difference between the more-or-less softcore erotica that's the bulk of sales and production and the more niche, fetish, extreme stuff that's mostly online.
As for the erotica itself... the world would be a far sadder place without it. ;-)

Leaving aside the question of whether your children are your property to any extent, the much simpler notion is the fact that all the children sees around him/her is not owned by them.
You may restrict anyone you wish from viewing your own property, and operate merchandise you own in whatever manner you feel is appropriate. The children really have no say.
