A UK Decsion Point

A couple of months from now, Britons may vote to leave the EU. If they do, they will faintly foreshadow what it will be like when Americans repudiate all government; neighboring states may retaliate.

Today's ZGBlog, The Brexit, draws a comparison.

Delights to Come

Retta Fontana's excellent recent article Cash is King inspired me to write today's Zero Government Blog, to contrast the pleasures of the right of self-ownership today, even in the depths of the government era, with those of tomorrow when that era has been ended and that right can be exercised fully.

Staying North

That's one of the vast range of benefits we'll enjoy in the coming zero government society; there will be no need for jobs to move to Mexico. So reasons Trade, Free and Managed, out today.

An Oligarchy of Lawyers

"Getting back to the Constitution" might be an improvement, but as today's Zero Government Blog reasons, not a very big one. Right from the get-go, the Supreme Court was deliberately formed as the final authority on what laws say. Elections and congresses are just a veneer; America has always been an oligarchy.

The Limits of Support

When a politician does or says something right, it's fair to commend him or her. Trump's current discomfiture of the Republican Establishment is a case in point.

However Walter Block's recent launching of "Libertarians for Trump" goes far too far, as reasoned in today's ZGBlog, LFT: A Bad Idea.

Root Strikers, or Wimps?

To give up the attempt to abolish the state seems to me so alien to the principle of "striking the root of evil" that I devoted the current edition of The Zero Government Blog to this subject. See Two Ways to Lose a War.

Trump, Dissected

It's encouraging that Donald Trump has attracted support from a substantial number of people who have evidently concluded that government doesn't work.  Not so fast, however; what he proposes to do is not really to scrap it and start over.

Enjoy A Take on Trump, out today.

Thought vs Myth

Today's ZGBlog considers the two prevalent myths of our time: State and Church, Government and God. Both, it suggests, ought to be treated in the same way. Enjoy Red, in Tooth anc Claw.

Unfettered Capitalism

Statists, especially those on the Left, are pointing to Martin Shkreli as a shocking example of what happens when the kindly hand of government is not there to restrain capitalist greed.

Conservatives and some libertarians are therefore apologizing for his action in multiplying by 55 the price of a life-saving drug.

Today's Zero Government Blog does no such thing; instead it hails him as a hero. Enjoy the reasoning.
