Andy Henke's Columns
"I’ve often heard from those who don rose-colored glasses that 'it’s never too late' to tell someone you love them, to let them know what an impact they’ve had on your life. Take it from someone who’s learned the hard way—those people are wrong." Column by Andy Henke.
Al-Qaeda Targets Smokey Bear in Terror Plot
"'So far, authorities say they have no reason to suspect terrorism....' How many times a week do we already hear that phrase? Be it a train derailment, a gas-line explosion, a water-main break, or even a flu epidemic, we are constantly reminded of 'the terrorist threat,' of the 'imminent danger' we’re all supposedly in. That’s called conditioning, folks. It’s textbook psychological manipulation. There doesn’t even have to be a real terror attack, as long as there’s always the question, as long as 'the T word' keeps getting mentioned on a daily basis, the end result is the same: FEAR and SUBSERVIENCE." Column by Andy Henke.
"It
would appear as though the people raising such Cain over this issue are
neither Christian nor Constitutionalists, they’re simply Statist
tyrants who have no compunction about letting you and I foot the bill
for their various legalist 'crusades' to shape the State in their own
image.
"All
told, I have a really hard time calling anyone that operates within the
boundaries of the State’s Just Us system 'an activist.'
By voluntarily stepping into that den of thieves and expecting any kind
of social 'justice' to be meted out, you are at best a fool, and at worst
accomplishing two nefarious tasks for the State:" Column by
Andy Henke.
"When I awoke on Sept. 12, 2001, I still had a reasonable certainty that nobody would be snooping through my home looking for 'subversive materials,' that I wouldn’t find myself behind bars without first committing a crime, and if I did, that I’d be able to phone an attorney and prove my innocence in a trial that would become a matter of public record. Murderous Middle Eastern fanatics didn’t have the power to change any of that, no matter how many people they did or didn’t kill. Only the State could change those things. Indeed, what few real liberties we had as Americans weren’t taken from us by some invisible foreign enemy, they were taken from us by 'our' government." Column by Andy Henke.
"The State is a master illusionist.
It is not through military or monetary might that the masses are
controlled; in
"Go back to the lands from whence you were banished and cry freedom!" A primer by Andy Henke.
Column by Andy Henke.
"You know, I really don’t mind being lied to by my TV anymore; I just sort of take it for granted that such is its purpose in life. What does chafe my behind is when the little people inside that infernal box insult my intelligence. Look, if you’re going to try and put one over on me, at least show a little respect and make it good." Column by Andy Henke.
"State-TV docudrama works the same way--our protagonists (police, soldiers, etc.--the implementers of the Will of the State) are locked in deadly conflict with wily terrorists, criminal thugs, ruthless dictators, and any other boogeymen the Producers can come up with. Along the way we’re shown various hardships (both genuine and contrived) that our heroes must endure. Through a constant bombardment of entertainment-savvy 'news' programs, John Q. Public soon finds himself caught up in the storyline and empathizing with the protagonists (and thus by extension the State itself.) The goals of the State become John Q. Public’s goals, and suddenly 'WE' are at war (and must support the troops by not speaking out!) 'WE' are fighting TWAT (and must do our part!), and most importantly, 'WE' must all pull together under the benevolent guidance of the State, because only the State knows what’s best for us all, and how to protect us from the boogeymen. " An excellent column by Andy Henke.
The Social Engineering of the State
"How
does the State swiftly and decisively garner public support for agendas
the public may deem objectionable? Enter
the time-honored 'Problem/Reaction/Solution' system (let’s call it PRS
for short). Unpopular or
controversial policies are frequently implemented by way of creating
a popular demand for them utilizing the PRS, and we would do well to
analyze 'the news' and certain current events in this light.
