America’s Roads Have Been Turned Into A Revenue Generating Surveillance Grid

"Government" does not feel any "need". Government -- the state -- does not exist. Except in the minds of slaves.

It is psychopaths who've managed (through the practice of misleading slaves) to become kings and senators and "prime" ministers et al., who feel the need to watch, monitor, track and regulate.

It is those psychotic individuals who depend upon "libertarian" writers to treat abstractions such as "the state" as living, breathing entities -- who understand how to hide beneath the umbrella of reification to continue their undaunted machinations. It is those gangsters who feel the need to watch you.

And it is those shysters who depend for their legitimacy upon your whining, moaning, wailing and gnashing of your teeth.

Étienne de la Boétie:

He who thus domineers over you has only two eyes, only two hands, only one body, no more than is possessed by the least man among the infinite numbers dwelling in your cities; he has indeed nothing more than the power that you confer upon him to destroy you. Where has he acquired enough eyes to spy upon you, if you do not provide them yourselves? How can he have so many arms to beat you with, if he does not borrow them from you? The feet that trample down your cities, where does he get them if they are not your own? How does he have any power over you except through you? How would he dare assail you if he had no cooperation from you? What could he do to you if you yourselves did not connive with the thief who plunders you, if you were not accomplices of the murderer who kills you, if you were not traitors to yourselves?

This, in my opinion, is as true today as it was nearly 500 years ago when Boétie wrote it. I understand he was only 19 at the time.

I am a sovereign state. I am powerless to stop you if you choose to photograph me as I bike or drive down the highway. The white man, unlike you, attempts to intimidate me with "tickets" and "fines".

But the white man is stupid. He is inept. He and his cohorts form a monopoly upon violence -- and it is that monopoly which renders him inefficient and powerless. Dangerous, yes; but powerless. He and his bristling (but cowardly) "swat teams" are easily sub-navigated.

Be free.

Would like to have included a quote from Gerald Celente on today's Daily Bell, but just now chanced upon it:

Now it's time for another revolution, this one, of course, not of bombs and bullets or armies but of the mind, the spirit and the heart...

I'm not what you could call an avid fan of Celente -- he's statist through and through. He appears to believe "we" have inadvertently elected ourselves the wrong people to head the monopoly we call "state". Other than that central government would fulfill a socially useful purpose. Celente would perhaps have just cause to bash me on this premise -- I'm just basing my judgement on his constant outbursts of anger over government egregiousness.

I can't dis a man who's made a fortune by understanding the stupidity of the white man and "his" incursions into the marketplace. Celente has had the cajones to make timely market moves by seeing the ignorance of government (the agents thereof, I mean) interference and investing in an opportune manner. Then sell his ideas to investors.

And he repeats my mantra: you must yourself become free before you can lead others to freedom.

Here. Now. (With sincere respect to our friend, Mr. Davies, and his program).
