100% Foolproof Solution to Stop TSA from Stealing Valuables Out of Your Carry-On Bag
Youtube video demonstrates how to do it. Looks legit, but I would make it 99% because when you foolproof something nature tends to evolve better fools.

It's clever and cheap, and probably effective as claimed - to deter theft for personal gain.
Trouble is, while most TSA examiners may be honest in the sense of not being personal thieves, all of them are dishonest in the sense of working for government by poking through baggage. If they detect something (like a flask of gin!) that some government rule forbids, they will steal it anyway.
So, "100% foolproof"? Not quite.
